About The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association

The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association promotes and produces some of the world's most dynamic automotive events. Founded by lifelong hot rodder Gary Meadors in 1983, Goodguys events feature thousands of candy colored hot rods and custom cars sprawled throughout venues such as lush fairgrounds, super speedways and large outdoor stadiums. Goodguys host over 20 events annually across the country and range from two-day affairs attended by 30,000 to 40,000 people to three and four day extravaganza's attracting over 100,000 auto enthusiasts.

Goodguys is the world's largest rod & custom association with membership fast approaching 70,000 nationwide! The growth of Goodguys is due in large part because the events and the association appeal to and attract a wide range of auto enthusiasts. Most Goodguys events welcome rods, customs, classics, trucks, street machines and muscle cars through 1972 vintage while the "Get-Togethers" welcome all, years, makes & models of American powered cars and trucks.
